Pepperpot!

i can't calm my nerves

so i'm watching tv and my dog is outside
i hear him barking and barking so i peaked to see what he was barking about and then i hear a woman screaming.

i look outside cause i think it's these stupid teens on my block and there she is, being thrown out of a moving car.

and then the car proceeds to back up and try to run her over.

he misses

he reverses

he misses again

she screams somebody help me. i run down my steps and grab my dog and then open the gate and pull her in. the driver reverses franticly, hops the curb and then smashes into my car leaving a piece of his van stuck to the front bumper and then he speeds off.

i run in and grab my phone and call 911 and pull her inside my house. call badgreen and tell him to get home ASAP and let him know the rundown.

she's crying hysterically and i'm trying to make sure she's ok. she barely drinks the water i offer her and she's talking like she's clinching her teeth.

the police come and go. luckily when he threw her out of the car he accidentally threw out his hat and his wallet. frankly i think the police treated that poor girl like shit. i don't want to get into details but one cop in particular was blaming the girl. i fail to see how anyone deserves to be run over by a car. and i honestly believe that if i had not walked outside when i did she would be all over the street.

they didn't even bother to take her to the station to make a statement. i had to ask them to drive her home and i had to ask them to write a police report for my car. i ask them if they can patrol the block for the next few days because i have to walk home from the train station and i know they driver saw me.

it's no wonder people have issues with the police, especially when the police treat you as though you are busting up their krispeekream party.

when badgreen gets home he goes to look at the car and notices a car noticing him. we call the police again and they say they will send another car to the house. well its been nearly two hours since i made that call and still nothing.

it's going to be a long night for me.
